Dominiqua was born and raised in Ontario, Canada, where she first pursued studies in human kinetics and emergency medicine before relocating to Connecticut. She initially obtained her EMT certification and began her career serving at Cromwell Fire Department and Middlesex Hospital while she earned her bachelor’s degree in Paramedicine from the University of New Haven. She has since gained extensive experience as a Paramedic, working with services such as AMR New Haven, Waterbury Area, and is currently full-time at the North Branford Fire Department.

She is deeply passionate about professionalism in the pre-hospital medical field, actively engaging in continuing education and supporting fellow providers in building their skills and confidence. Dominiqua is also dedicated to fostering environments where people feel excited about the work they do and is always seeking opportunities for personal growth.

When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her small pack of rescue dogs, baking, and exploring different types of food.
